Do you have any pets? The sweetest puppy in the whole wide world—Chloe.

What are your hobbies? Cooking, pilates, crafting, nature walks, scary movies and just being outside in the sunshine

What do you like to drink? Scotch. And milk. Not together, obviously 🙂

What sports do you play or enjoy?  Basketball is my favorite

Who’s your favorite golfer? Arnold Palmer 😉

Do you like to cook? I LOVE cooking! And baking! I like to try new healthy recipes on the regular, and attempt different ethnic cuisines whenever I have the opportunity.

If you had lots of money, how would you spend it? I’m passionate about anti-poaching efforts, and would love to start an ethnic cuisines whenever I have the opportunity.

Do you believe in love at first sight? 100% But for me, sight is not so much about what you see with your eyes.

If you get to be someone else for a day, who would you want to be and why? I think it would be really neat to be myself as a child again, maybe around 5 or 6, and just experience what the world was like from that perspective once more.

How do you spend your days off? Trying out new recipes, scary movie marathons, happy hour with my friends, hiking— I’m always up for anything, and love trying new things during my free time!

Name one of your favorite movies? The Prestige.

Which was your best vacation to date? Kenya—the people, the food, the music, the culture—I’m totally dying to go back.

Would you sky dive or get a tattoo on a whim? Sky dive, yes! Not really into ink

What’s your idea of fun? Getting a group of close friends together over a home-cooked meal and a few drinks, telling stories and playing board games, and laughing til our bellies ached.

What is the one place you would like to visit? Dyer Island, South Africa — I’d love to go great white shark diving.

What do you do to cheer yourself up if you have had a bad day? Take a walk outside, followed by a SUPER LONG shower, then make one of my famous grilled cheeses, and probably call up my best friend to vent : )

Tell me one thing that you have accomplished, that makes you proud of yourself? I traveled alone to Kawangware, Kenya, and volunteered for 8 weeks conducing HIV testing and counseling in the slums. During this time, I also put on a self-funded medical camp that provided free clinic services (vital testing, antibiotics,etc.) for the town of Nakuru, Kenya. the trip was unparalleled to anything I’ve experienced.

If you could only do one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? I’d love to travel to various impoverished countries to discover and research infectious diseases and assist in finding cures, as well as work closely with the child in these communities and try to improve their educational systems and in my spare time, I’d draw inspiration from all of the people I met, the places i went, the food I ate, the animals I saw——and I’d love to write  children’s stories.

What are the three things that you cannot live without? Love, my family, and my friends

Which is the most dangerous and or adventurous thing you have ever done? I successfully picked up and handled a 3.5 unmuzzled Nile crocodile without any assistance.

What can totally impress you? Genuine Kindness and compassion.
